Agape Fest 2008!
Country Gospel and Christian Country music are now at the top of the many Christian music formats. Many of the hottest rising stars in this genre were at the King Country Agape Fest, May 29 through 31 in historic Jefferson, Texas. Radio CIA is proud to have been a sponsor for this fun-filled weekend of Christian music and fellowship, which included a talent contest for independent artists and the 2008 Fan Appreciation Awards show. We did a live remote broadcast from the Festival!

The Day The Music Died
The fight isn't over! The new Copyright Royalty Board rate hikes supported by SoundExchange insure that stations like Radio CIA will no longer be able to afford to stay on the air. Our licensing agency, LoudCity, says "it's not over 'til it's over" but right now things are NOT looking good. Even if you have already contacted your Congressmen and Senators, we urge you to do it again, today, and ask them to pass the Internet Radio Equality Act. With our new and improved programming lineup, we're getting more listeners who are staying longer. To insure that you're always able to connect to your favorite programs, we've increased the capacity of our Shoutcast server to allow more simultaneous listeners! A note on requests: Because we have so many new listeners, we tend to be extremely BUSY when working the console during a live show. If you'd like to make a request, please submit them via email to ciarequest@gmail.com and we'll get to them as soon as we possibly can. If we miss your song in the current show, we'll try to get to it in the next show. Please be aware that our license restrictions do not allow us to "instantly" play your request, there may be some delay.

We’re very pleased to announce an addition to the lineup at Radio CIA.
Riverside Country, with host Jason Farris, is a syndicated, weekly 60 minute radio program featuring a rich blend of positive messages and great Christian Country & Country Gospel music, and Radio CIA is the FIRST Internet and USA affiliate! The program currently airs on several country FM stations in Canada.
The program features popular Inspirational Country hits from today and chart-toppers from the past, plus the latest Country Gospel news, requests and dedications, prizes, and more! Each week a portion of the show is dedicated to a featured artist. You’ll hear tracks from their latest album release, interesting personal info, and short interview clips. Also, once a month they count down the top hits in Christian Country music. Listen-in for a great time every Sunday at 2:30pm Central, right before He's Alive!, or for the 10pm Central time re-broadcast.

Tom is a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter who has shared the stage with or opened for such notable national acts as Rascal Flatts, Lonestar, Marty Stuart, Ronnie Milsap, Trick Pony, Larry Gatlin, Vince Gill and Confederate Railroad. Now, with the upcoming release of his new self-titled CD, Tom is looking to establish himself as a solo artist.
